Grow love within yourself

Image
Love starts within yourself...the rest will follow It seems true to me what Louise Hay (2017) explains in many of her audio tapes about self love (not vanity). Louise states that who loves themselves will never hurt themselves and in turn will never hurt others. If every single individual in the world would have self love, there would be no poverty and there would be world peace. Loving ourselves does not mean being selfish, it just means taking loving care of our mind and body creating healthy habits which enriches our good mental and physical health. Only then we would act lovingly and those around us will feed from those positive feelings glowing from us...and learn to return it in the same way. "  I believe in Karma. If the good is sown, the good is collected. When positive things are made, that returns well".                   Yannick Noah   (karma quotes, 2016) Loving ourselves, helps us love momen...

Change your thoughts...change your life

Change your thoughts...change your life...  Our living moments, our reactions, our views are based on thoughts we have created in our minds...a thought can be changed and so can...how we enjoy moments, how we react to them and how we think of ourselves....consciously changing our thoughts can change our lives... 'Eva del Mar' Painting by Lucia Daou The power of our thoughts creates our lives. We create the thoughts and so we start believing in them and then our subconscious starts acting out those beliefs.  Instead we can consciously change a thought to be loving, to give us joy in the present moment and to maintain our inner peace, then everything works out the way it is supposed to. We have the power to change our thoughts at this present moment, this is our time where we can start using positive thoughts and words.  How the subconscious responds to our thoughts is simple, if we say 'I don't want to be unhealthy anymore' your...

While walking the path...

‘...and at the end, we learn that life is not found once the path has been walked on, if not while walking the path' (Caamano-Daou, 2018) Sometimes we may get carried away believing that buying things will bring us happiness, fulfilling moments that make our lives complete. While things build more things, people build lives...the collection of all the moments lived with those close to us... How  we make moments happen originates  in our thoughts, and they are in turn transformed into actions...that is what builds our lives... If we practice bringing thoughts  to mind about what brings us joy, then you will project joy on everything you do, and that joy or energy will bounce back to you...such as a reflection on a mirror...   Sometimes we might get lost in pursuing achievements in society i.e. careers, driving a new car, buying the latest gadget. While these things have become a part of life, they might help to make a living but a life depend...

Happiness in steps

Image
'Happiness is found in our state of mind, not in the state of our reality'      We are all travellers in this life. We pack our backpacks with essential things we need for the journey. What about packing in our minds the essential tools for what's to come on our paths?   After all, our minds guide us throughout the journey… This is a story about a wise man, being at the end of his journey and who speaks his wise words to a traveller who is about to start his own life journey.              A very wise man, once said to a traveller who was about to commence his journey: - “Before departing young traveller, don’t forget that the traveller becomes wise, when he always keeps in mind that he is just a traveller.... that he is just passing by in the world, and that the only thing that is permanent is what is inside him”. The wise man, knowing the traveller’s concern of what to expect on his journey,...

SUNDAY, 27 AUGUST 2017 Happiness is found in the simplest moments of what's called 'truly living' FEELING ALIVE IS IN THE SIMPLEST MOMENTS... I would like share a short story... A man named George once attended a therapy session to try and overcome a love heart break.   During the first session, the therapist assessed the patient's situation to see how she can help him. He was 40 years old, blind and had an assistant part-time to take care of some things he couldn't do due to his disability.  At the end of the session , the therapist asked him to write down all the good things that has happened to him, during one day of the week. After the patient left, the therapist started to doubt if the task was appropriate due to his disability, how can he think of good things that happen to him in one day, he will struggle completing such a hard task when he can't see a thing!.   The following week, George...
